Mr. Spivey is no stranger when it comes to the media spotlight, he makes sure to milk every ounce he can, he’s made the rounds throughout the cheesy talk-show circuit, including Jerry Springer and Danny Bonaduce‘s failed talk show, The Danny Bonaduce Show.
He even takes awkward looking photo’s with well known celebrities, including Ozzy Osbourne(Image) and Robin Williams(Image).

You have created maddness with my daughter and my mother, telling her we had demons in us. you have created disharmony in our lives, and divorce in our mother daughter relationship. i hope you are happy

    • candice 08/06/2010 at 6:18 PM

someone needs to do something. the company is corrupt. you only hear the good stuff from the desperate people who want so badly to believe. the government should shut them down. Maybe a website should be made so people can tel their stories. A website that comes up when you type in search for Gary Spivey…If anyone does please contact me

      • Julie 05/23/2014 at 4:27 AM

Ego, why do you speak poorly of Gary? The man obviously has supernatural gifts. He has helped many, many people! Who are you to judge? You sound like an ignorant bully, and your post on Gary isfar from impressive. Please don’t judge people.

        • Ego 11/26/2014 at 9:45 AM

“Ego, why do you speak poorly of Gary?” That is just a great question aimed at the “ego” ;)

Personally, I do not believe in psychic powers. There has never been a verifiable shred of evidence to back up any psychic claim. So my thoughts are that he is a very clever con man. Whether or not he actually believes he has psychic abilities or not is a whole other topic. But it is not nice to prey on people for financial gain. It even worse that he (and other psychics) provide false hope for misguided ignorant people.

    • Susan 03/13/2014 at 5:06 AM

He is the real deal, no matter if people want to dismiss him or get freaked that he says there are demons all around us. I met him many years ago and he told me something about myself that no one knew about me, in great detail. also, when I was a small child I could see demons too. I saw many of them around my mother. I didn,t choose to see them, or want to see them but they were there. He is authentic and genuine, so don,t be afraid, If you really want to know the truth he,s your man, if you can afford him. I hope this was of some help.

      • Ego 03/13/2014 at 9:40 AM

Real deal? Are kidding me? Do a little research on cold reading. Also look at how many things he gets wrong. As far as I am concerned he is a modern day snake oil salesman.

I became a fan of Gary Spivey after hearing him on 107.5 The River in Nashville, TN in 2002. I thought he was amazing and very dead on with his predictions and readings. Shortly after becoming a fan, I was so excited to hear that he was coming to Nashville to hang with Woody and Jim and their fans. I bought a ticket and was so glad I was able to be a part of that evening. In 2000 I lost my father and was very interested in talking with Gary in the hopes that he could contact my dad so I knew he was okay. That evening I was actually able to talk with Gary and through him to my father. It was amazing and I know for a fact he did not know me or my dad; nor did I provide any information to Gary or any of his assistants. Though I was not ever going to get over the fact that I lost my father so quickly, talking with my dad and knowing he was happy and watching over me made all the difference in the world. I was able to go one other time to see Gary at a seminar a few years later and also purchased his Keys to Heaven book and read it from cover to cover. It had been years since I was able to see him live and he had not been on 107.5 The River in a long while.

I was excited to see he was coming to Atlanta on March 21, 2009. I jumped on tickets and patiently waited for the day I could travel down to an all day seminar. Unfortunately, on March 16th I got an email with the bad news. Apparently the people from the morning show that was sponsoring the seminar were fired and a co-host had canceled. All that purchased tickets were going to be put onto a master list for the make up date and they would reschedule as soon as Gary secured a new date. When I called to find out particulars, they were trying to reschedule and couldn’t give me any other information. They did say they thought it would be a month or so and they would get back to me.

March…April…May…no word at all. I finally decided that I needed to call and see what was going on. I had purchased two tickets, so I was not the only one that was going to be out money and I felt obligated to ask for a refund. I started calling 1-800-827-4279 on a weekly basis because there was never a live person answering the phone. They did have an answering machine, so I started leaving messages. After a month of calling I finally got a call back but it was with the office manager who was unfortunately not the person that could give me a refund or even authorize one. Commence the phone calls to catch the bookkeeper on a day she was working. I finally got her one day after calling for a few weeks (June 30, 2009). She apologized for the delay in rescheduling the seminar. She told me that she would cut a check the following Monday (July 7, 2009). That day came and went and no check. I waited the appropriate time in case it got caught in the mail and started calling again. It is now September 29, 2009 and I have yet to receive a refund, nor a call back from my numerous messages.

The reason I’m posting this on MySpace is because I know there has to be a lot of Gary Spivey fans on here. I was hoping that someone, somewhere either can relate to my story, knows what I need to do in order to file a complaint with PayPal (where I paid for the tickets) or wants to commiserate with my misery. I want to think the best of people, especially someone as gifted as Gary Spivey, but after all the hoops and hurdles I’ve had to go through to get a refund, I’m starting to wonder what type of business he is running. Why would someone take money for a seminar and then not refund the money as soon as the seminar was canceled? I can understand if it was postponed and rescheduled, but this has apparently in the cards, so give us back our money!!!!!

    • curiousmary 11/30/2009 at 7:38 AM

Amanda – paypal is the best. You can avoid going through the gary spivey site and file your complaint directly with paypal. If it is no longer showing in your log on paypal, just call. They will deal with getting the money. :) good luck!

    • Grace 07/18/2010 at 11:29 AM

Gary’s company is the worst. Even had many occasions where I had set up readings….waited and waited. No calls. Yet my card would get charged. Ordered books
and never recieve. His own employees would say how much Gary could care less about other peoples times. When he gets tired he will just order the staff to reschedule readings.
Went to a few of his seminars. They get thousands in cash…seminars are always the same.
His staff claim to be spiritual be they all come across as stuck on themselves. There is a short man with him always. Sometimes the man who wrote the book with him. Think that they are lovers?

    • candice 08/06/2010 at 5:58 PM

Gary is a sweet person. He has a great presence. But any showman shyould. People desperate/sad or lost go to him they need someone to give them hope. I have had many readings/seminars etc. Think when people want hope they will be open to anything. The cost for half hour reading is $500.00. An hour is $1000.00 Seminars are cheaper cause they get more people together in a cheaply rented place. I have had problems waiting for readings and getting cancelled. His office staff said Gary was selfish in that respect and spends more money on himself than anyone. Fran his office lady would say how bad it was working there. Dean Hymel the manager had to be let go for a while due to mental issues. The bottom line….I have never had any of Garys predictions come true….ever…He mentions soul mates like its ok to mess with people like that. He asks you questions and if you notice people give more answers up front. People need to oput them out of business. Dont listen on the radio, dont see him or talk to him. His main desire is money. The government should look at this group closely….lots of cash not documented!

    • SOLEDAD SANCHEZ 10/02/2011 at 11:39 AM

I bought 2 tickets to attend one of his seminars in san diego on dec 6, 2008 i received an email on dec 4, 2008 telling that seminar had been cancelled and rescheduled for january 24, 2009. they didn’t even offer to give me a refund. the problem was on dec 9, 2008 i was starting radiation treatments for a reoccurence of breast cancer that were not going to be completed until the middle of feb. so there would be no way i could attend. i tried calling never got an answer I even spammed the email address that sent me the email. it was to no avail. So i am out $300.00. so no gary spivey could care less about the people that buy his merchandise or go to his seminars, he’s a fraud and a thief, everybody beware!!!!Hope one day he finds himself in dire straits and in prison just like James Ray the self proclaimed Self Help Guru found guilty of the deaths of those 3 poor inocent people who died in the sweat lodge ceremony in 2009. people paid no less than $10,000.00 to attend and in the end 3 people died and he didn’t care he just left them there. How stupid can we to believe in these quacks!!! and they get away with it

  3. Anne 10/01/2009 at 6:59 PM

When you go to Gary’s site there is no contact address. I purchased the book and cd’s but because I am not in the US i had to purchase the ebook and MP3 downloads. The book did not come in pdf format and I have to download it each time to read it. The MP3’s are not downloadable to another device or program such as my IPod or Win Media and I have to sit at the computer and to do a meditation. Thank goodness I have speakers. I don’t know about anyone else but the mood is not the same sitting at a desk as being comfortable and sitting in my meditation chair. Still I have had some wonderful experiences with the meditations. I have attempted in vain to contact his office in the US as there is no contact details on his web other than a phone no in the US. I did get an email address from a friend in the states and I have emailed now 3 times over the last 3 months asking for assistance or for the program to be sent out by mail. Nobody ever comes back to me. I think that Gary has a skill and I think that his flamboyent ways are just an avenue to get everyone’s attention but any business on the web usually has a contact email address but not Gary. This does not give me any confidence that his intentions are honorable in fact after reading Amanda’s story, it only convinces me further that money is the motive. I feel very sorry for him for that. Maybe what started out as a genuine intent to help heal others has now turned sour with the promise of big dollars.

    • Grace 07/18/2010 at 11:32 AM

I bet if the government took a close look at Gary and his so called company they would find lots of corrupt stuff. They get much in cash…….from seminars etc. they do allow charges for readings but all the seminars I always see cash being handed for entry and books etc…His manager looks very sleezy

    • candice 08/06/2010 at 6:00 PM

You are right! Sad part is that The Holiday Inn hosts all of his seminars……People need to stop going!!!! Boycott Holiday Inn if they keep hosting this fraud!

  4. evelyn 12/28/2009 at 1:51 PM

i had a phone consultation with gary 2 years ago. most of what he said was silly. just before i spoke to him i took out a lock of my deceased mom’s hair and my dads mass card…both have been gone for a long time. as i looked at the hair i thought is was funny how pretty it looked even after so many years. about 15 minutes into the call i asked if gary saw my mother around me. he said he saw a woman who was trying to get his attention. she was touching her head and saying nice hair. it totally sent goose bumps down my spine. i can explain all the other crap away but not that! do you think it was just a lucky guess? i looked him up on the Internet and almost died when i saw his silly pictures…his look doesn’t help his credibility.

    • Ego 12/28/2009 at 2:02 PM

Yeah, he does look a bit on the silly side. I can’t say whether or not he posses any actual psychic skill, for all I know he could be the world’s biggest fruit-cake!

    • grace 07/18/2010 at 11:35 AM

He always seems to mention Hair-dancing-funny when talking about people who have passed? I hear the same thing over and over…….someone needs to put this company out of business

    • Candice 08/06/2010 at 6:02 PM

He says that lots about people who are deceased. Or he says They are dancing,or they are funny!

    • Laura 01/16/2011 at 10:51 PM

HE ALWAYS SAYS THAT!!!! LOLOL I have heard many of his calls and he mentions hair. ALL THE TIME. His readings are always the same. He said that I had met my soulmate etc. Everything he said DID NOT HAPPEN. Gary seems like a nice man but as with any business it is MONEY ORIENTED. His manager/staff do come across stuck on themselves. I did purchase their book like so many others. I complained to Pay Pal when not received. They still have a paypal account. Fran the office gal mentioned to me how sleezy the management was. Especially Dean Hymel who does have mental issues. They do take in large amounts of cash at every seminar. The office person mentioned how Gary would spend large amounts of money with no care of his bills. She said he had a spending problem. His manager is said to have anger issues and severe mental problems. The government should take a close look at this group.

  5. fern 01/17/2010 at 10:41 PM

I spoke with gary last month and he told me how i was going to get a job. But it was the detail that he told me that got me believing him even more. He told me that a job that i applied for was hiring for two part time positions but mine will turn into a full time position. So the job i had applied for before this reading never did call me back. So i gave up and just went to apply at lowes and i didnt realize it until after the interview. I walked into lowes and there was two of us applying for part time positions. before i left the interview the hr manager came to me and offered me a full time position. this may not be much but he was right on bulls eye.

    • Laura 01/16/2011 at 10:56 PM

He said my father would get a job in a month….It took almost two years. We even spoke with him again and he said the same thing. They lost their home. No job. Was out $500.00 for reading

  6. Ian 03/21/2010 at 10:44 PM

Ok, first for everyone who thinks Gary is a fraud i would like to say that i met with him in Vegas for the first time last year. He was very precise and correct with all of his predictions and was able to read my mother and talk about my Nana’s murder and my grandmother, and how she was doing. He had also told me i would save many people because of my special gift to read people and tell the future and see and get rid of demons. I also was able to see angels and communicate to God, himself. However, if you think he’s greed or he loves money, your wrong. God blesses those who follow his path and destiny he has for you. Also, if you help people you will be helped in return. So Gary’s success in his wealth is from his abilities. Also, im sorry about the inconvenience with the tickets and booking, however, not everyone is perfect. Gary, you must remember, is not God or Jesus. He may possess many remarkable capabilities, however, he is not perfect, so take that to heart. And the gifts Gary has given me, has saved my life many times from getting out of situations, and it has also helped me read and help people in general. The gifts he will provide you are boundless, but you must choose to use them and get in touch with God. Please see Gary, he is a life changing experience, practicing communication with angels or demons may be dangerous is you aren’t told by God or a messenger of him so i do advise this. Anyways, good luck to all who read this, hopefully i’ve opened some eyes. May you all have a prosperous life! Toodles!

    • Grace 07/18/2010 at 11:38 AM

People who’s sole desire to help others would give of their services for little or nothing. think about it. You also need to remember that in our own grief we may give out lots of information to help people read u…

      • zombie 08/27/2010 at 6:00 PM

no offense but i love helping people im becoming a physical therapist to help people why because in my heart i like to do it, but you know what im not really going to do it for free if i could easily survive and provide for my family pay my bills and do it for free i would but guess what now a days it cost money to live you provide to the economy by spending money, people who have money buy shit, and that shit provides for everybody else who also provide said shit. so why the hell do people demonize people who make money for. why shouldn’t anybody who has a god given talent profit from that gift or talent hell look at the word “PROFIT” did u ever see Jesus in efin rags no his clothes were made of the finest un-seemed linen. Now if the guy is that rich and he has a million fans and still finds time to give free readings on shows, and has thousands of people trying to get his attention,

so again the question is how accurate do u have to be to be real or fraud ive seen him be very accurate but also a little leading at times, but what if all he does is plant the seed and u make that decision to make a path to that option
for example: what if Laius (the father of Oedipus) not gone to the oracle at delphi and not heard the prophecy of his son killing him and marrying the mother, he would not have abandoned the boy and would have been a loving father, and we would not have the complex which bears the title.

    • Teesoup 11/16/2010 at 9:28 AM

Gary is about Gary. He may have SOME abilities to predict the future or speak to spirits, but for the most part, he is in it for the fame and fortune. This man is truly not a spiritualist. He drains people of their finances consistenctly. He’s no different from other psychics. If this is a gift from God, well maybe he shouldn’t use this gift to get rich quick and rub shoulders with celebrities and other rich famous people; or just to be in the spotlight. This man is a clown and so many vulerable women fall into this trap of wanting to believe that their deceased loved ones is okay or have forgiven them for something they’ve done. If you believe in heaven and God, then you don’t need that confirmation from a living being, you already know. If you listen to Gary and others like him, the dead seems to “always” forgive you or ask for forgiven. Use your hearts, not your feelings or curiousity. All living beings have a special gift(s) of some sort. However, majority of us don’t use our gifts to rip people off. Sometimes, he has to be honest and tell people that he can’t channel certain things, instead of faking a response. We pick up on spirits, too, but we just don’t focus on it.

  7. Jun-Dog 03/29/2010 at 3:31 PM

is Gary Spivey the real deal? i have to see it to belive it, but i dont wanna pay at least one question would work..

  8. Kay 04/01/2010 at 10:34 AM

Gary Spivey is THE biggest fraud I have ever met in my life. My husband had committed suicide and I heard him on the radio talking and “connecting” with loved ones that others had lost. Well, I decided to waste my money and call him and he told me about these stupid demons and that since my husband committed suicide that he was bound to Earth and that he would release him so he could go to heaven. Then he kept asking me if I felt my head getting warm, this, that… I felt nothing. Unfortunately, when you’re emotionally distraught you will believe anything. He even coaxed me into going down to NC for a Spiritual Retreat, which I wasted a lot more money on. Granted, points were relaxing- because the scenery was nice. We went to one spot in the mountains and meditated and he said to me, “look! Do you see your husband? he is with God in a carriage and he’s waving to you!” Bullsh*t!! How dare you say that to a widow? Especially when all I see is a bunch of trees. (This was in 2007). Later on, I started dating and he had told me that this guy was my soul mate and that I would go crazy without him. Well, after a few weeks of dating he started hacking into all of my e-mail accounts and myspace and he was spreading rumors to make me turn against my friends (saying my friends were spilling personal information that I was confiding with them in my e-mails). Then I broke up with him and he slashed my tires. But let me tell you… my life has been beautiful ever since. I have grown SO much and am happier more than ever. I also have found a different psychic who charges $25 for an unlimited amount of time. She has predicted so many things in my life. She says some people do have the psychic ability but greed gets to them and then it interferes with their abilities. You’ll get what’s coming to you, Spivey! I just hope soon people start realizing you’re a huge fraud so you can stop ruining lives!

    • justina 04/23/2010 at 7:31 AM

Who is your psychic? I want to meet with someone who others feel is legit! If you could give me their contact info I would appreciate it.

      • Laura 01/16/2011 at 11:03 PM

Yes. His whole business has become corrupt. He holds all his seminars at the Holiday Inn. Maybe if people boycott them and the radio stations that allow him to promote his business then that would do it. The Government should take a close look at these peoples books…..TAXES! Hard to track cash.

    • TJ 10/27/2010 at 6:37 AM

My favorite part is that after all that, you actually went and paid for another pshycic.

    • Lori 11/29/2011 at 6:18 AM

who is the physic you found I would like to call her?

    • Kapax 09/20/2012 at 3:18 AM

If you are willing to pay him and others even after your expirence with Gary, I see only one person to blame and it’s not Gary.

    • Corty 07/15/2015 at 6:53 PM

Can I get your psychic ‘s info?

  9. Kate 04/03/2010 at 10:57 PM

I believe that Gary Spivey is a strange guy with a real gift. I am not saying that he is 100% accurate. I am not saying that I agree with everything he says or believes but I experienced his chilling accuracy first hand.

I went with a friend to see Gary Spivey last fall. We live in an old 1932 house and many strange things have happened over the 7 years since we bought the house. My youngest step daughter and I have both seen dark shadow figures in the house, almost like a solid silouette with mass shaped like a man. We have heard footsteps upstairs when no one was up there. The dog has stood in the doorway of my step son’s room barking like crazy when no one was in there and when we turned on the light in the room the desk chair was spinning wildly and no windows were open. I have heard voices in the house when I’ve been the only one home. Those are just a few of the weird things.

I asked Gary if we had a ghost in our home. (My husband and step children have always been convinced that our house was haunted although I have never thought that what I’ve seen was ever human. I did not say this to Gary.)

Gary told me that we had a “cutter demon”. He asked me if any of the kids had been cutting themselves. I was positive that none of them were. He told me that cutter demons are often accompanied by suicide demons and they want to make people feel depressed and worthless. They make people want to cut themselves and want to kill themselves to escape the pain.

I was sceptical of what he said but he got rid of it for me and cleared the negative energy from our house. As soon as I got home I spoke to each of my step daughters privately. I asked each of them if they had every cut themselves. To my shock and horror they each privately admitted that at one point they had been. The youngest even admitted that for a while she often thought of committing suicide by slitting her wrists!

I always used to think that people who claimed to be psychic must be just really good at reading people and drawing information from them that they might not even realize they are giving away. There is absolutely NO WAY that Gary could have known that my step daughters were cutting themselves when not even I knew or would have believed had I not heard the words come out of their own mouths! It’s not like they even knew that the other was doing it either. They were each surprised to hear that the other was cutting herself.

Since Gary got rid of the demon our house has been peaceful and quiet and no strange things have happened to anyone. I used to hate coming home after work because of the feeling of dread I got when I walked through the front door. My husband and I used to argue and get on eachother’s nerves for no reason. Since he got rid of the demon and the negative energy we have all been getting along great and have been spending a lot more time together as a family. You can choose not to believe and you can call him a fraud if you like but I believe he has a real gift and I believe he may have saved my family!

    • candice 08/06/2010 at 6:10 PM

He always mentions cutter demons where children are concerned. ALWAYS!!! He did it to me many times. In todays stress for children its easier to say that and have it be true….It sucks!

      • theresa 11/27/2010 at 8:21 PM

I saw Gary in person, and it was fun. You have to realize, he’s human. What he’s going through personally that day, could get in the way of his reading you. His emotion could take over and cloud his vision. He’s figured out by now how to overcome it the bulk of the time, but again, he’s human, so perfection isn’t possible. No one could be right THAT much and help THAT many people by pure coincidence, it’s literally impossible. Not to mention the rules he has to follow by the givers of his gifts. And the fact that paths can change.

In conclusion, he’s upbeat and allows the rest of us to feed off his energy, he usually has good news, he is sympathetic, and he is a good communicator. Be greatful you have access to some information, and can get answers to some of your questions. If Gary, or any other human had full gifts to know everything there is to know about life and death, past, and future, all this would be pointless. We wouldn’t even be here because we would already know everything. Have faith, learn, and most of all, LOVE!

OK! How much did they pay you? Do you work in their office? You on the payroll? $500.00 for half and hour-$1000.00 for an hour. And you end up waiting sometimes for 3-4 hours for a call. Sometimes never even receiving one. His office staff said many times that appointments are not the main priority. Just heard on the radio that Gary just purchased a yacht in Florida. Thats what the money is for.

  11. Kevin 06/10/2010 at 6:32 PM

I have had a private reading with Gary and have also gone to many of his seminars and workshops. He saved my brothers life and got him of drugs. He has helped my family out in more ways then I can count. So these people must not have dealt with the Gary Spivey I know.

    Thanks Gary!

My husband just had a reading with Gary last night. He had made a comment to him that does not know how my husband can stay with me, and i just would like to know if Gary “chaneled” how crappy my husband has been to me over the 20+ years we have been together??????? I would say OBVIOUSLY NOT!!! And this cost us how much????

  13. Thomas 09/17/2010 at 6:57 PM

I wouldn’t give this idiot a red penny to read”made in China” of my watch.

Seriously, I spit my water out all over my desk when I read your comment!

Gary is a psychic not a magician. You people seem to think you dont have any control over your destiny or free will and if Gary said ABC would happen then you can just sit on your couch and wait for it to happen………….that is not how it works. You can not see what Gary sees because your narrow minded and expecting the sky to open up with a big bang. That is not how it works. It is about clearing your mind and bringing inner peace and positivity. I had a reading with Gary and yes it was $500. but that money came back to me trifold immediately, it was absolutely amazing what he did for me. For a 25.00 reading you will hear exactly what you want to hear -a generic horoscope.

    • Laura 01/16/2011 at 11:12 PM

      Mr. Hymel is that you?????????

  15. Laura 01/16/2011 at 11:16 PM

I spoke with Gary on the phone via radio station contact. He said he saw me having a baby. Said I would get pregnant within the coming year. I called him out on that. I had a hysterectomy and can no longer have babys. He changed his reading to say I would adopt.

  16. Ingnod Sanchez 04/30/2011 at 6:32 AM

Enter your comments here…I have done some research. I called the office and pretended that I wanted to book Gary for a show. I was given the number to his manager. (310)877-5020 Deen Hymel. Direct line.

  17. todd paul 08/04/2011 at 11:15 AM

Gary Spivey is an all time, grade “A” , criminal douche-bag! I had my own show at a Las Vegas Casino and Gary came to do some shows in my theater. Now… I know quite a bit about magic and mentalism from 30 years of experience, and the one thing that I always wonder about these genuine psychics is that if they really have this power why are they using tricks you can find in a book on mentalism in your local magic store? Buy a ticket to Gary’s show, then buy the book so he can sign it and spend a little more time bullshitting you, then buy a ticket to the seminar, then get out your credit card for some one on one over the phone, then really dig deep and go to the retreat! What a scam! for those of you who speak to the dead or see angels or hear the voice of god, you are either lying or deluded. Some of the posters on this page are genuinely sick and in need of psychiatric care, some are just being fooled and don’t have the capacity to see though this chaucerian fraud, and some are simply in pain and being taken advantage of.
This is dangerous! When I saw Gary he told this young lady, who was a real believer, that her mother was having auditory hallucinations (she was hearing crickets) and smelling a strange smell because she had a demon and an alien presence in her. Then, with his little hand wavy thing, he simply got rid of the offending presences and sent that girl very happily on her way to the next part of his scam, (probably some very expensive phone calls). Now… Gary you nasty piece of human excrement, auditory hallucination and smells are a red flag for a brain tumor and this girl, being credulous, is going to believe that you helped her, when you should have suggested an MRI for her poor sick mother! People like Gary prey on the weak, the credulous and the uneducated. Everything he does has a show business explanation and can be reproduced by any competent showman. I watched his show very carefully three times and can tell you for an absolute fact that it is parlor tricks and bullshit. If you believe Gary is talking to your dead relatives or exorcising demons and aliens or talking to angels and god, please take some time to think about how easily influenced you might be by someone who has practiced lying his whole life. Gary Spivey is a dangerous con man and should be stopped immediately. The hotel I was working for when I saw Gary, thought this was just entertainment that put asses in theater seats. IT IS NOT!!! It’s a criminal enterprise run by charlatans and con men and a lying thief named Gary Spivey!

That’s all you people has got to say about Gary shame on you. Good publicity or bad he’s out there making money it doesn’t really matter. If you can’t deal with the truth then turn to yourself. If you want answer then ask God yourself. Oh wait a minute why should God deal with a bunch of doubters. That’s why you haven’t received your blessings ( and you didn’t even look)Now about the money call pay-pal or the B.B.B just like everybody else and get your money back. If you can’t get your money back consider it a loan. Yes one apple spoils the whole bunch. Some of you are bullshitters trying to bad mouth because of your envious of Mr. Hostess snowball. The man is blessed and its that simple. However for the people that are really going through hardship. God has never left your side he knows the rocky road you’re crossing. Gary is like everybody else he puts his pants on one leg at a time. I know for a fact that most of you are psychics yourself. It’s really not panning out for you. oh well it hurts to back the wrong horse doesn’t it. He talks to thousand of people so he got you wrong. the odd are you should’ve saved your money. You all crack me up blame the guy with the white Afro. You’ve got bigger concerns about our own government. Are you ready when it collapse on itself. Do you have enough water and food to last about two to three years. Does it really matter if you believe in God and Jesus or whatever religion you believe in. Don’t you think your God will reach out to save you all. Hey I’ve been scammed by the government and sale people ,used car lots etc, etc,… DO YOU SEE ME CONPLAINING. You know what forget about growing a pair. Pussy can take a pounding better then those soft fragile balls. GO to hell and God bless!

In America, you vote with your wallet. End of story. Also, if you’re dumb enough to actually waste $500 on a reading, you deserved it. If you thought it was worth it, good. If you ended up losing money that could have helped you pay your debt, just think with your head next time.

  20. Carlo J. 10/19/2011 at 8:12 AM

I agree with Vanessa R. I had a reading with Tana Hoy and he was amazing! He was able to tell me names of people, specific dates, and very personal information that I hadn’t told anyone! I have had several readings with him, and he has been accurate every time! Vanessa R. has the wrong number for his office. It is 614-444-6334 and his website is Tana is only $250 for 30 minutes and I would pay more if he charged more – he is that good!

  21. james 01/16/2012 at 3:57 PM

my aunt went to see him concerning her daughter and her daughter’s fiance. the fiance wanted to join the navy. gary said that would be the biggest mistake of his life. a few months later my aunt went back, mentioned how the fiance joined the navy. gary said it was the best thing he could have done with his life. i guess ol’ gary doesn’t keep track of his own predictions.

  22. unicorns are fake 08/10/2012 at 9:36 PM

Wow, the amount of people that fall for this nonsense is staggering no wonder the world is corrupt to all hell and we’re being robbed blind by the rich.

  23. Carmen McKay 11/12/2012 at 8:30 AM

I had some hope about “Tana Hoy” that everyone said is so good until I went to his website. The photo of Mr. Hoy is the same photo attached to the comments above of “Carlo J” and “Carla J” who both say they have readings with him and say he is good. In other words, Mr. Hoy posted those comments himself under two false names, not realizing that the post would show the photo associated with his email account – probably a Gmail account.

So, he can’t be very good if he has to falsely promote himself and he certainly can’t have any integrity – something one would hope a real psychic would have. What a sick freak.

Also, my dearest friend of 28 years is currently staying with friends who are hosting Gary Spivey at their home for the week. So, she has spent all week wtih Gary on a personal, casual level. She tells me he is the real deal, and that her friends who have known him for 20 years believe in him, and they are intelligent, conscious, people. She begs me to get a private reading with him, because I have had a health issue for many years she thinks he can help me with.

But, after reading all these comments, and seeing his gift so commercialized on his website, AND the fact that people say he charges $500 for 30 minutes, gives me great pause. However, if I have learned anything in life it’s that I can only have opinions about things, and opinions can be limiting – who knows what the truth is, or what is really possible?

So, I will meditate on it and see what my intuition tells me. I trust my friend and her friends, but wonder about all these bad reviews. WHo knows? Maybe Tana Hoy is posting all the bad reviews – hard to say.

I find it very hard to believe people who claim to have psychic abilities. At best it is comical.

Even though frauds like this prey on and profit from ignorant people, we still must recognize that those who pay for their services are willing buying into this sort of quackery.

      Logic FTW!

  24. Jill 05/16/2013 at 8:42 PM

I don’t really know what to feel about psychics. I would never pay for a reading or get swept up in any fraud or be taken advantage of. I have however had 2 free reading with Spivey over the radio and he was correct on both accounts. The first time I was asking why I haven’t gotten pregnant (me and my hubby) after 5 years of trying. He told me my tubes were blocked and to take care of that problem and give it one to two months and I’ll become pregnant. He was right. Tubes are blocked and having surgery to unblock them. Still thought that could be a lucky guess. But today’s free reading as I got through on the radio station was totally different. I asked about my Daddy who died when I was 14. He described my Dad down to his unique sideburns which were not popular then. He told me that my Daddy just kept saying I Love You I Love You and sorry if I was sometimes a bit stubborn. He said he hears me when I talk to him everyday and told me a few things that I’ve only said in those talks in the house by myself to my Daddy in Heaven. He asked if I had a brother. It took my breath away as I said yes. Spivey told me that my Dad has been my brothers guardian angel throughout all his troubles. My brother became an alcoholic after my Dads death. He once rear ended a semi when he fell asleep and the only part of the roof of the car left was over my brothers head. It did cut his forehead. He was close to decapitation. My Dad was there. My Daddy asked my to do him a favor and take my brother by the hand and tell him this and bring him comfort as I will bc I don’t want to fail my Daddy. I believe Spivey really saw and talked to my Daddy!

This guy total fraud. He doesnt have a clue what he is talking about. He claims himself to be a psychic and asks you questions like what happened, how it happened, when happened. Then on the basis of that he makes some junk stories. Half of time for my reading he either kept mum or was coughing and he was clearly waiting for me to give information to him. On youtube or on videos he projects himself as very confident and knowledgeable guy, but in reality he is scammer. Trust me, i have recorded our telephone reading. Even a kid would tell he is just making up and has no clue whatsoever.
He kept telling me that he is one of few psychics who can read me. Moreover, for things to happen, i should keep having readings every 3 months, like going to a dentist, he said. Because we have free will,so for things to happen i should keep having readings with him.idiot fellow. If free will is going to affect what he predicts then there is no point in his predictions. Because he can always blame for predictions not come true for free will,!!!then he is very free to make any freaking prediction.
Guys, trust me, I have had readings from many so called top psychics, Tana Hoy, Marla Frees, Marisa Ryan, etc. i spent 1000s of dollars on these scammers. I have taped all of their readings. To date no prediction has come true for any of them, and they had no clue what shit they were talking about. You might say I am a skeptic. No, not at all. I very much want to believe in all this stuff. But seems its just a fake thing made up yo run this industry of me guys, I had been very emotional and vulnerable when I had readings with them. So, i was open to take whatever they say. But now, when I look back at all this after six months or so, it sounds to be a total bullshit

  27. Carla 03/23/2015 at 4:37 PM

Yep – I thought it was just me, but I felt like I got nothing out of the $1,000++ I spent on a reading. He told me I had a couple of old uncles or older men who were hanging around me (spirits) and they were jokesters, etc., always laughing, blah, blah, blah.

He focused alot on my past, but hesitated to give me any real insight into what I wanted to focus on. I felt totally ripped. Oh, and I also had a demon that he focused on getting rid of over the phone. After he exorcised it (or whatever he called it), he asked me if I “felt that.” I said “uh, yeah,” because I wasn’t sure what was going on. I felt so stupid and ripped off.

Good luck if you hire this guy. Might as well spend the money on a nice outfit — you’ll feel much better instead of feeling like a sucker!

For the people who get something out of this, I think he’s a nice person to talk to that will listen to your problems — kinda like a therapist. When I tell my best friend that I am going to see a psychic (there is a place that charges $60 for a hour near me — and yes, I have had some that really have an uncanny “gift,” she tells me to “go ahead and get your little high.” I kinda use it like therapy without the “so what do you think that means,” and “how does this make you feel.” It’s a lot more fun and cheaper. Sometimes you have great luck and find someone that truly does have a gift — not many though. I am a big skeptic and go without a wedding ring, expensive clothes, etc., just to see.

With all that said, Gary Spivey IS NOT THE REAL DEAL. He’s just relates to people and sucks them in. Go to a therapist if you want to talk, you’ll get more out of it.

  28. john 08/18/2015 at 11:38 PM

I hate to rain on the believers parade but Gary Spivey was a shyster piano salesmen in St. Petersburg Fl. and was so far in debt he had to find another way to fleece gullible people. Once a shyster, always a shyster.
