Ummm…

Can someone please tell me what this is? Only kidding…(wait for the hook)

It’s actually an 80′s music video entitled Seik by Yugoslavian singer Lepa Brena.

Apparently she was hott stuff back in her prime!

…I’m posting this strictly for it’s retro shock value(1985)…oh and that pudgy Arab-looking dude in the background. He’s pimp.

This is a rare gem, especially if you are a Batman fan!

If you ask me, I must admit that Prince has some pretty catchy tunes!
I mean who can resist the delicious guitar riffs of this highly ‘under-rated’ guitar player?
C’mon, the dude gave us Rasberry Beret!!! Ha ha
Plus, I hear he puts on quite a show…in more ways than one!

Sensual~!

Sensual~!

Random, I know… But just thought I’d throw in the cover of his debut album Prince… Oh the joys of the generation gap!

Ok, back on track!… This next video shows a  side of Batman and Prince that you don’t get to enjoy very often!

I don’t know what the choreographer and director were going for when shooting this video…it’s kinda hilarious in it’s own special way!
Enjoy! =)

Here’s a rare video of Weird Al Yankovic performing his classic hit Eat It in Japan during the 1980′s.
(Eat It is a parody of Michael Jackson’s Beat It)

When I was growing up I was a huge Weird Al fan, I owned nearly all of his albums!
On a side note: I nearly drove my dad insane with my fascination with Weird Al’s music.

Eat It!

I like how he tailored the lyrics for the Japanese viewers!

Got to love foreign humor, as I’m sure Al did, judging from his reactions!

Al’s newest album Internet Leaks is set to release on June 16th of this year. Be sure to snatch up a copy!

He came from outer space to save the human race!

…and his name is Klaus Nomi!

For those of you have haven’t heard that name before let me give you a little background info:

Klaus Sperber was a German man who traveled to New York City in 1972 and began work as a pastry chef. He got involved in the art scene, and took singing lessons, but his singing style was said to have no place in modern music, despite criticism Klaus pressed on and began manifesting the now legendary character of Klaus Nomi!

Below is the first ever video I saw of Klaus, I found it on YouTube and it just blew my mind!

As I have a ‘knack’ for the truly bizarre and awe-inspiring!

Oh, and I should mention that David Bowie picked up on Nomi’s talent and even did a couple performances with him!
