OoOops…
This is by no means an admission of guilt!

Dead!

Dead!

David Kellermann, the acting chief financial officer for the *bunk* mortgage company Freddie Mac, was found dead at his home in Reston, Virginia. Authorities received a call from Kellermann’s wife this morning at 4:48am(4-22-09), indicating that she found his body in the basement. As of now it appears to be a suicide with no signs of foul-play.

You can check out the latest NYSE numbers for Freddie Mac HERE.

Kellermann was 41 years old and had been working with Freddie Mac for 16 years. He was appointed as acting CFO in September 2008, after Anthony Piszel stepped down.

More to come…

While many frown upon it’s very existence, I embrace it!

The subject today is…Street Art, or what some call Guerilla Art.
I really admire this particular art genre and anything that has to do with leaving random bits of artistic expression in public places. But, with everything comes misunderstanding and criticism.

Fine Art!

Fine Art!

Many people disapprove of this art genre…some even call it graffiti, but I decline to do so! However, I do make a distinction between what I think is art and what I consider vandalism.

I really don’t like the defacing of business fronts, other artist’s work, or public property(such as people’s cars). Nor do I like those nasty scribbles everywhere that usually turn out to be gang symbols…

On the other hand, I don’t mind seeing the sidewalk stencils, the sticker art, or wheat-pasted posters…I mean what else would I look at while walking places?

Which reminds me of the reason why I’m writing this post…

Back in 2006, when I was first introduced to street art, I began taking photos of all the wonderful pieces I could find.
Originally, I never got around to uploading them to my former website/BLoG…but the other day I figured it would be cool to dig them up and share them with everyone, cause who really knows how many of these awesome ‘public-art’ exhibits are still around. I do know of a few that still exist.

So sit back and relax while we take a time-trip back to the not so distant art scene of San Francisco street art!

He came from outer space to save the human race!

…and his name is Klaus Nomi!

For those of you have haven’t heard that name before let me give you a little background info:

Klaus Sperber was a German man who traveled to New York City in 1972 and began work as a pastry chef. He got involved in the art scene, and took singing lessons, but his singing style was said to have no place in modern music, despite criticism Klaus pressed on and began manifesting the now legendary character of Klaus Nomi!

Below is the first ever video I saw of Klaus, I found it on YouTube and it just blew my mind!

As I have a ‘knack’ for the truly bizarre and awe-inspiring!

Slack off at work!

Slack off at work!

Today’s wacky product is an iPhone app called iNap@Work and it will help your iPhone create ambient ‘work-related’ noises to keep unsuspecting co-workers from knowing your sleepin’ on the job.  Now that’s what I call a true Slack app!

The app was created in a collaborative effort by Trieu Pham &  Silent Logic Studios in San Jose, California.

It’s available in the iTunes app store and can be downloaded for only 99 cents!!!
